National Integrated Electricity Policy

With the assent to the Electricity Act (EA or Act) 2023 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Power, is mandated to commence the process for the preparation and publication of the National Integrated Electricity Policy and Strategic Implementation Plan (NIEP-SIP) in the Federal Gazette within one (1) year from the commencement of the Act. This plan must be approved by the Federal Executive Council before publication and implementation.
